In addition to hundreds of hours of college course work related to inspection principles, building construction and related subjects, Richard has experience remodeling kitchens and baths, designing and building porches, decks and patios, and has carried pre-sale inspection responsibility for one of Houston's largest home builders. Richard has personally invested in residential properties in three states, assisted others in residential investments as a licensed real estate agent, and has successfully completed examination for Texas' most advanced inspector classification. As a longstanding member of the National Association of Property Inspectors, a co-founder of the Katy Business Partners, a TREC Certified Inspection Instructor and author of the textbook Professional Home Inspection Results, Richard's involvement with his profession runs deep.
